Jesh Foundation is a non-profiteering philanthropic and ono- Government Organization. Working exclusively in Satkhira with tentacles of activities through out the country for people in need in areas of (i) Pro-poor private sector development, through capacity building of unemployed young man and women, especially disable women with skills of income generating components, developing micro-entrepreneurship and rendering other logistic supports, (ii) Human rights and good governance including child rights, women rights, human rights and establishing alternative dispute resolution, (iii) Food and livelihood security through micro-fredit support and education and (iv) Environment, Climate Change and Disaster Management through various activities. Jesh s the word stands for hope for the future has become a symbol  of real hope for people, especially the disable women of the area of Satkhira for whome Jesh already has done an immense work through alternative dispute resolution, raising awareness on human rights, through micro-credit financial activities, sanitation activities and in many other areas during the last one decade of its life time. Jesh Foundation reports for the period 2005-07 and during this period it remained busy in One Abilis Foundation Project on disable women to train them in an attempt to make them economically self-dependent by imparting them skill on a certain technology for producing some saleable goods in the market and also another activity that was financed by the AED-DFID.

The valuable services that Jesh Foundation has been rendering constantly after its birth is the micro-credit financing to rural ultra poor people about which the reflection will contain its success stories. Due to unavoidable circumstances the sanitation program has been remained suspended. It is expected that the program will be resumed very soon. We have completed a new work offered by the UNDP at Puthia Upazila of Rajshahi district. We gained a stapled our experience on the subject in which is very common in Bangladeshi life. Established by a philanthropist and an Australian citizen Mr Enam Hoque is a son of this soil and under his able leadership and supported by a group of professionals, Jesh Foundation has created an ideal culture of gender parity both inside and outside in its field activities. We in the Jesh are very careful about gender treatment in employment, service rules etc. Jesh Foundation recently has reorganized and strengthened its liaison office at Dhaka and the field by involving appropriate manpower in an attempt to intensify the philanthropic services at the level.
